Personal Statement – Iowa Writers’ Workshop
Wonderful blogging community, I'm posting this statement with two purposes. 1. It kind of summarises where I want to be going, which I want to share with you 2. I'd love feedback! Since preschool I have read voraciously, and appreciate exquisite writing in multifarious forms. I have natural writing talent, and derive deep satisfaction from creating prose, yet I have spent my life longing to write novels and not doing so. This is Jonathan, who has lived all his life in Kosovo. Eowyn & Coco loved his company. My ailment has now been with me for 3 weeks. I just watched http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ihuv5z6nqWw and was much amused. I don't think anybody reads these blogs any more. The only people who comment on mine are Bens and me. Hello! Is there anybody out there? (or is it in there?) I have become comfortably numb... Bit depressed, methinks.
