The Outer Banks in North Carolina are most alluring. Blackbeard the pirate haunted the waters of Pamlico Sound, and OcracokeIsland, where we camped, is where he was finally captured and killed. The locals speak with a fabulous Irish Brogue, and I felt a rapport and wonder in connecting with those of my Celtic ancestry.
Blackbeard!! I couldn't remember which famous pirate lived there.

Hello! It's been a while since I have posted... And I cannot control this process! "It" chose this photograph, of lovely Benjamin and me, which is good, since I suppose it could have chosen anything at all?
This is Jonathan, who has lived all his life in Kosovo. Eowyn & Coco loved his company. My ailment has now been with me for 3 weeks. I just watched http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ihuv5z6nqWw and was much amused. I don't think anybody reads these blogs any more. The only people who comment on mine are Bens and me. Hello! Is there anybody out there? (or is it in there?) I have become comfortably numb... Bit depressed, methinks.
Eowyn plays for the SKiPPS Cheetahs, and Coco for the SKiPPS Lynx, SKiPPS standing for their school, St. Kilda Park Primary School. The girls are very energetic and fun little players. This is their first 'officially' playing on a sporting team, and as their mother, I am very proud of them, and delighted to see them grow in new ways.
