How far away are the tulips? It looks like a commercial venture? Not just the odd tulip, poetically scattered around?

It's north of Seattle and Everett by about 100 kilometres, and is called the Skagit Valley Tulip festival. We've been going every year - as newly weds, with dear little newborn Eowyn who did more poos there than we had nappies for, with a dear little mischief-filled pair of girls running away from their mummy and daddy, and today, on my bike!!

Basketballers!!

Eowyn plays for the SKiPPS Cheetahs, and Coco for the SKiPPS Lynx, SKiPPS standing for their school, St. Kilda Park Primary School. The girls are very energetic and fun little players. This is their first 'officially' playing on a sporting team, and as their mother, I am very proud of them, and delighted to see them grow in new ways.
